Yeah-
I did this on my phone again, because I've honestly gotten used to it-
Like I said, I'm trying to draw a bit more while I have the time. I did a bit of a reference for an older character earlier today, so that's cool

Normally when I do lineless, I try to do linework like I would do for a normal piece. After I do that, I lower the opacity and go to a layer underneath the linework layer. The linework is basically there to serve as a guide for the coloring. The easiest way I've found to color it is to get one color, color the whole character in that one color, and then create a clipping layer above that layer so that any coloring done on that layer doesn't get anywhere it's supposed to be. I would normally merge the two layers when I'm sure that I'm not going to change anything about either of the layer. After the coloring is done, I normally use more clipping layers above that for shading, but that's just how I do it ^-^;
Oh yeah, one thing I normally do for wings is that I repeat the process listed above, but separate from the body. It makes it a bit easier for me to color the wings that way ^-^;
This went on longer than I though it was going to, but I hope it helped!
Thank you so much!! ;v;

I'm sure that there are other ways to do this stuff. Heck, I'm pretty sure I just now started doing lineless stuff like this. Overall, for this, I feel like you have to find a way that works best for you. The main reason I do it the way I do is because I'm used to using a lot of layers ^-^;
Yee, it's cool to see where our inspirations for our styles come from! I do see where you're coming from with how people can pull certain things off. It does seem like some things are easier for others when it comes to that stuff
Im not quite sure where my style came from, but it's there I guess lol

The character is definitely your strongsuit here, they look great lineless. The background could use some work, as the water looks pretty finicky, and the world around doesn’t acknowledge the character’s presence, as they’re not casting any sort of shadow, making it appear as if they’re floating. Really like the technique used for your grass.
