The Bearcat rose to its tyres and stood for a moment on the spot. It then, for some reason, dragged its front right tyre across the ground, and then it stamped it on the spot. Gideon was a little confused at why the Bearcat was fussing with the tyre.

“You got an itchy axle?” He said to the truck.

The Bearcat glanced down at the Dodge Challenger beneath it, and it blushed a little. “Oh, urrr…ooooh,” It muttered. It felt a little embarrassed knowing that the Dodge had seen it playing with its tyre. “Uh…er—hm! Well, it’s a little niggle of mine, and it’s silly, really,” It said quietly. “But…don’t tell anyone, though…I…get pleasure from when I scuff and stomp my tyres on the ground. The sound they make and just watching them when they slam and crunch the ground just…makes me feel weird inside myself, but in a satisfying way.”

“Ooook…?” Gideon said. He was deeply confused. “Not the strangest thing I’ve heard in my life, but you do you, I guess. Just don’t wear your treads out doing so!”

“I’ve been trying to kick the habit for a long time now. I try my best but…” The Bearcat but it couldn’t help but crunch its front left tyre into the tarmac beneath it, the sound sending a pleasing feeling through its body. “When it brings such satisfaction, you just can‘t help yourself. Anyway, see you around, bud’!” It said, and then it drove away to rest in the garage for the night.
