On the seventeenth day of Giftmas, Nattie gave to Gio
Now, we arrive at Gio. They are someone I did begin to speak with last year through connection to Icky and during the May Incident of last year, since then I have viewed them as close friends. I know Gio may not consider us as such, but in my mind I definitely do. I do think highly of them, even if I am rather shy to speak to em. I would like to continue chatting with them, get to know them more and all, they seem like they're a interesting person. They just are a bit mysterious to me right now, they don't seem to speak too much but I do find the things they do say interesting. They can be a friendly person as i've known and I do hope we can continue to work on building a friendship in the time to come.
I will also note that they are a very talented artist themselves, they are also rather good at... some interesting subjects to put it lightly. They do have a gallery on here but it's a bit NSFW, so I'd advise to take note before viewing their material. But they certainly draw what they do very well in my opinion.
As for the piece, I do hope they enjoy it. It kind of works in the 'connected universe' of Kerples & Icky's pieces. Perhaps after hanging up the lil ornament on the branch, Mousie turns their attention to the mighty owl (who is likely warm with that big a scarf) and she offers them a lil gift she has wrapped. This piece took ages to do and even coloring the warm floofy owl alone took over an hour (they are a very very complex design, even more so when ya throw in the fact i haven't ever really drawn owls, especially not a fully colored piece of one. side note, I did get a reference of owls in trees to get an idea how this should look. the general idea otherwise came as I woke up today) But yesss, i did try my best and I hope they enjoy iiiit. I am rather nervous about how they will interpret the piece and how they shall respond, but aaaaaa, I hope they enjoy. Me do view them as a fren and I hope they enjoy a special piece being done their way.
