Sketch design of the loader of the new Russian based crew, Boris.

This one was stepping a bit outside my usual body type zone trying to make him a much larger body type than most of the skinny guys and gals of the platoon. I'm trying for the gentle giant archetype with this one. Just a very kind and forgiving teddy bear who loves to eat, but also can clean hurl a 152mm shell several feet over your head by himself. As such I tried giving him much more muscular and thick arms, a much larger body, and a little bit of a first attempt at drawing a pudge belly.

It's def not the best attempt, and I've been told he needs a little bit more of a muffin top curve to really sell the belly look, but thats easy enough to fix later. He very big, so something stronk like brick made sense for his nickname. And I'm sorry but "Boris" is just such the perfect bear name, very stronk liek Russian baer. Do not just be stronk, be stronk like Boris. The width comparison isn't as easy in this shot but the goal is he's about 50% to 100% wider in terms of his body than most other characters, and he's a bit taller too which helps. Still not quite the tallest, but its somethin.
