my mom found this pin for me at a garage sale. its really only about the size of a dime across but i took it with my cell phone to zoom in.
the story behind Montana is...before i had my youngest son i used to train horses, teach riding lessons and do guided trail rides. my horse's name was Montana..we gave him the nick name Montana Wind because when he ran he thought he was running as fast as the wind..but he was really actually kinda slow. but we didnt care. he was my soul mate. Montana was bread in the mountains of Montana...go figure..he was a cross between a quarter horse and an Arabian. like the horse on the pin he was really good at going up and down steep hills. he had long strong legs like a quarter horse and a small barrel shaped middle that made it easier for climbing. when i found out i was pregnant with my son i needed to give up riding and training the horses for safety of my baby. we rode until i was a little over 3 months pregnant and i had to leave the stables. my sons dad paid for a tattoo of my horse maybe ill have to try to get a good pic of the tattoo to share. but for now i can share my story and a pic of my awesome pin my mom got!

This one... I wasn't so much looking at the pin, but the story behind it..
I never would have guessed you to have trained horses. That's different. But it's a good different as I can't imagine anyone else I know having ever done it, including myself.
It's sad the circumstances that came in which you had to stop but... the pin gained from it would bring back memories of that.
I'd have to say that alone would be worth uploading it here~
