I was thinking the same thing. After all, if I recall correctly, there ain't no rules in this duel. She could grab a handful of dirt in her left hand and roll to her right as she slings the dirt. While Jinjur is cursing and cleaning the dirt out of her eyes, Kathy could grab her sword and continue the duel.
I like Cathy's fierce and determined look in panel2. The commentator must have remarkable eyesight or powerful binoculars to see her underwear. Certainly feel the energy of that fall, and I like how we see that contrast in her expression from panel 2 and 7. However, I get the feeling Jingur has got ahead of herself with that overconfident smile. You certainly left us on a cliffhanger here KD, and I can't wait to see what happens next. Thank you so much for all your hard work and the effort you put into entertaining us. 😎⭐⭐⭐⭐🙌👍
Thank you, I really needed to hear some positive feedback today. I put a lot of effort into researching and drawing the duel sequence, and have gotten a little frustrated with folks who critique the poses, or who try to armchair swordmaster the duel.
There are camera drones in the arena. I probably should have made that obvious. They're transmitting to the Jumbo-Trons in downtown Kiyanti and Port Asbestos, and other towns in the Maramasai.
