Awww thanks ❤️ years of practice and bullheaded resilience is a boring art tip, but it's all I know cx I recommend trying professional brands, sometimes just bad quality paint can be a real mojo killer. But tbh acrylics are a bitch that doesn't like to be tamed :DD. So don't give up, they don't like anyone.
I've never thought of combining the marbling and painting into a single artwork! I like how you used similar hues and looser brushstrokes in the spoonbill to keep the same energy throughout the piece. The haughtily lowered eyelids and curled neck also are a nice touch to convey a regal personality to the bird (on top of just the jewelry). ^^
