It was close to the holidays. The type of holiday that children and adults alike were looking forward to, singing songs, baking desserts, and making lists. It was the type of holiday where family and friends can still get together, whether physically or digitally.

Blind was excited for the coming holiday as well. He was looking forward to seeing his family. However, Blind has always been one to like his time alone sometimes, so he decided to take a little stroll. The weather finally decided to snow a little in his local area, so it was good to get into the holiday spirit.

His stroll took him many places, such as the mall and the nearby plazas. But for every destination visited, Blind saw groups of smiling friends and family. Everyone had at least one friend to have company with...except for one person. Blind's thoughts and vision grew dark and narrow and cold.

"I...don't have anyone."

The ashamed Lucario rushed back home and into his kitchen to make some hot cocoa. As he finished, he went around the back to spend his time alone...again. As soon as he opened the back door, decorative cards were seated on his table. Blind slowly moved forward, sat down on his sofa, and inspected the cards. What he read made him smile weakly and he proceeded to take a sip of his hot drink to warm him up even more. Among all the words written in the cards, all of them had one message:

You are loved. Happy Holidays.
