Art gift I drew for the Feline Breeding Center (www.cathouse-fcc.org) in January. Drawn there, with markers and colored pencils. They even still had the picture I did for them in 2005! =)
They told me a story about a new leopard (no snow leopard, but that doesn't matter to me) they got, and who was still so shy and hides a lot in his tiny den, and one keepers there said: "He's just fat!!" ;)
So I drew them a fat lazy snow leopard. ^^
(it's not a scan, it's a photo of the picture... sorry for the quality)

Schönes Bild, das weißt du ja XD Aber ich finde die Qualität top, also es sieht aus wie gescannt. Aber ich bin da nicht überrascht, es zeigt nur dass du's kreativ drauf hast. Ich habe auch schon Bilder abfotografieren müssen, weil ich nicht scannen konnte. Mit halbwegs nützlichem Licht und einer neutralen Position kann man ein Bild machen, das mit etwas Photoshöppischer Hilfe wie ein Scan aussieht =3
Took a visit through the Cat House just today (3-4 hour drive from San Diego... ugh... but totally worth it!) I did a double take when I saw this piece and the quick pencil sketch beside it; took a photo for the memory. I was wondering for a moment if you volunteered there x3
You'll also be happy to know the Cat House got two new snow leopards a few weeks ago, a male and a female. Pretty sure they're a breeding pair, considering it is the Exotic Feline Breeding Compound... unfortunately the tarp over their cage blew off a few days ago so they were hiding in their little rock house to keep away from the sun, even though it was cool outside. Did get a lot of good looks at all the other cats though, really fun place... got a snow plush as well on my way out x3 Probably going back in the late fall... I'd go back earlier but it's in such a bad location, basically near absolutely nothing...
