There is a place for all things that are lost. Mystical lands of the gnomes, where the One Sock travels from your laundry. An entire bank backed by the coins that you swore were in the couch. And for those People who become lost, they might find their way to the Forlorn Castle.
It could appear anywhere for you, the entrances as myriad as the stars in the sky. A staircase leading down from your ground floor closet, that wasn't there yesterday. A mysterious castle in the woods, appearing when you start to question where you've ended up. The apartment next door, that you wander into on accident while confused and delirious.
Should you ever find yourself there, you must leave at once, if you ever wish to find your old life again. For the castle is a living thing, keen on hospitality and new beginnings. It will give you a place to be found, but it will also change you into that which you desire.
Those with good hearts, soft minds and caring hands, they shall become that which they desire to Be.
Those with evil in their thoughts, passions of controlling, taking and claiming selfishly, they shall become that which they desire to Have.
But if you are so keen on staying the night, it behooves us to ask:

Hello again! I'm working on a different sort of approach to the next compilation. Rather than a direct YCH commission setup, we're going to be suggesting stories that you(yes you) can vote on. The process works like so:
* Stories can be suggested here, in this submission.
* After a week or two, a new submission will go up with a poll containing all the story ideas, open to the public. You do NOT need to have posted an idea to vote on them. Some people don't know what they want until they see it and go "ooh!", and that's okay.
* The ones that receive the most attention from the audience will receive the most attention from me, the author. Not all stories will be written. Some may be longer than others.
* When the final compilation comes out, there will be an open tipjar sort of link. If you liked what you read, consider donating $5 or more kind of thing. Thus, people can support the stories they read, even if they're not entirely sure what sort of ideas they have in mind. The audience can join in, as well as the ones going "I have an idea!", and everyone gets the TF they enjoy.

Now for the actual submissions! Any story idea posted in the comments below will be put into the final poll, unless there's some explicit reason to deny it. If you wish to submit an idea anonymously, notes are fine for that purpose, but I strongly recommend commenting. It keeps everything in one spot, and ensures things don't get lost.

Submissions should be:
* 1-3 sentences, describing the premise and outset of your idea. Common types:
* * * A simple direct change: Person who feels they have lost the feeling of Christmas becomes a reindeer.
* * * The beginning of a story: Description of Person, who enters the castle because of X. Change left up to the author.
* * * A type of transformation: Someone manages to get themselves turned into a pooltoy with handles.
* Tags at the end of your idea are great, but not required. [FtM, There's The Penis!, 2nd Person, Role Reversal]
* Stories may be lewd and crude, or clean and wholesome. Like Wishes, they'll be tagged before the story so that everyone can see up front which kind that story is. Author reserves the right to reject staggeringly lewd stories that might clash with the feel of the piece.

Here are some example ideas. These ones will be going in the final poll, so don't fret if you like one of these ones!
* Running away from an abusive relationship, a woman finds a strange place of safety. She desires to become strong enough to defeat those who would hurt her. [FtM, Cuddly Monster, Massive Feral]

* A mean child who takes the idea of "Gotta Catch 'em All" very seriously and selfishly becomes a pokemon, just in time for someone who needs a friend to tame them. They explore the castle together. [2x Pokemon, Clean, Same Transformation Different Reactions]

* Someone who knows better finds a set of fox-pajamas in the castle, sized Just Right for them. They put the PJs on anyway, deciding that this is a reasonable, fluffy fate. [Heavy AR, Feels, Shrinking]

* A villain who sees the castle as a new lair, finds themselves becoming the soft, shy, submissive, adorable little creature that he would have desired to conquer just a few hours ago. [Role Reversal, Adorbs, Possible MtF]

* A lost dog becomes a weredog, and attempts to acclimate to such powers as: Speech, Hands, So Tall, and Can Reach The Top Shelf. [Uplift, Wholesome]

* An evil person, tired and weary, just wants to find a place to rest. [Room TF, Inanimate, Exact Words]

* A deeply religious man is distraught when the castle turns him into a busty goat girl. How demonic, how sinful! But slowly she starts to realize that what he really wanted was to be able to see good in all things, like he used to once upon a time. It ends with someone rather monstrous looking entering the castle, and she gives them a warm welcome. [Goat, Philosophical, MtF]

* A lost child wants to find his mommy. His mommy isn't here, and in fact has died some time ago, but there is in fact a feral lioness in the castle who would love to fill that role. [Feral, Role Acceptance, Snuggles]

* A king, at a loss for how to rule his kingdom, finds himself in the castle. He is shocked, to say the least, to learn that what he has always told himself he desired is not even close to what he actually desired. [Wholesome Corruption, Motive Restoration, Finding Your Place]

* After intentionally binging on illicit things, our person wakes up in the castle. This is not their beautiful home. This is not their beautiful bed. And perhaps, just perhaps... this is not their beautiful body. [Trippy, Surreal, Artwork Transformation]

* Looking for love in all the wrong places. [Splitting, Genderflip, Split Personalities Changing in Different Ways, Snuggles]
