Detention-style art inspired by listening to Iron Maiden. The foreground character is supposed to be a paladin of the Raven Queen - hence the unusual helmet and shield.

That's awesome attention to detail! The chain mail and armor are beautiful. You also did an excellent job on the horse and rider-- for some reason, people seem to have trouble with legs and stirrups, but you nailed it!

Thanks! I was trying to do more of the medieval European style saddlery, with more of a straight leg while riding.

This is beautiful. The armor is just wonderful to look at! I like the placement of the background too, it looks somewhat chaotic as does the current engagement.

Yes...very good armour...it's vary rare to find a good depition of chain...AND the plate looks functional...

I agree with Tathi totally - awesome job on horse and rider. So many people have a hard time getting the proportions down, or the way horses move -- and of course, the tack. :D

Great stuff, and as always, I love the ink work and the wash.
