The star attraction at FPRRD was, naturally, Union Pacific's DDA40X, the "Centennial" #6936. This is the last one operating, and is the largest, longest, most powerful single-unit diesel locomotive in the world. It's with UP's Heritage Fleet, and still occasionally pulls freights. Behind it on display are an Indiana Harbor Belt GP38-2 and CN's two E9s. Also at the event were a Canadian Pacific Dash-9, a Belt Railway of Chicago SD40-2 and caboose, Metra's F40C #611, and a few Amtrak and Metra passenger cars.
