Haha, I love Floyd. The lyrics work for this in an odd way, although this song wasn't the source of inspiration for this picture.
This was finished in a timespan of two days, a few hours each day. Kind of a record for me, considering it usually takes longer for me to finish personal pieces.

The gray creature in the middle there is Icykat, my fursona. The creeper surrounding her is hard to explain. It's a sort of mechanical worm or serpent. Only she is able to see it, and it appears when she's depressed; tormenting her constantly until she is able to lift herself out of her own thoughts.. sort of like the bad voices in the back of your head, except this voice materializes. It has been known to strangle her at times, as well, and it really just creeps her out. She isn't a fan of worms.

I really try to capture emotion in my artwork the best that I can, and sometimes it's pretty tough considering the eye is a big part of an emotional piece, and well, IK lacks proper pupils, haha. I'm really glad that i'm getting such positive feedback on the sad emotion in this picture, though.
Tell me about it! D: I don't really know where it came from or why it's designed this way. All I can remember is that it started appearing in my IK art back when i was in high school in my really depressed phases. It's always be surrounding her or trapping her somehow. I decided to redraw it because it was requested of me. :)
