Clan Ferrik is a powerful and well-equipped warlord clan within the Under-Empire, and is also the biggest supplier of iron and steel within the entirety of the Under-Empire. Their treaty-pact with Clan Skryre grants them influence, power, and wealth alike as a result of such trade. Tagren Furslasher is a rat of little words, but has both fear and respect for Clan Skryre as a result of the relative good standing the two clans have with one another. When he was selected by Iza to be her chief bodyguard, Tagren was in no position to decline servitude under a Clan Skryre rat, female or otherwise. Ever-vigilant, he is always close at hand to Iza, guarding her from any would-be assassins or overly-amorous males, and even using his large shield to deflect and block shrapnel from various kinds of lab explosions. Interestingly enough, he doesn't do his guard work for any form of monetary payment, some thinking that due to his bloodthirstiness, that the potential prospect of killing is all the payment he needs. Regardless of what the bonds of his servitude might be, he is loyal to Iza and would take a bullet for his superior in a heartbeat if it came to it.
