Urban Slavski is a weapons lover. He was not a psychotic person of course. He was just passionate about militaries. That's why he joined the closest faction. The Dominion Forces. However, he likes weapons in action against hostiles, not innocent civilians. That's why disobeyed in the end and was executed along with the squad he was member of.

Peter Diesel is one of oldest and most experienced Dominion Troopers. He was member of Dominion even prior events of Brood War. He was against destruction of Tarsonis in the fact, be he couldn't rebel because in those times he was young, foolish, desperate and coward. However, the older he got, the greater his inner rage was growing. Then he snapped when he got an order to commit a genocide, where instead he rebelled and ended up frozen like all other Revo-Troopers were that day.
