Transformers Animated: Beyond, a series by
kiananuva12, myself, and other friends.
A continuation and re imagining of Transformers Animated; introducing new characters and plots. Featuring both old and new characters as well as the next generation of various characters.
At the earliest stages of Project Lusus, Longarm2.0 conducted his own experiments in secret based on the reports from Optimus Prime's encounters with the techno-organic Blackarachnia. Discreetly, Lognarm2.0 had Optimus and the original members of his team cloned (including the late Prowl, which led to a different incident altogether) and converted the clones to techno-organic Beastformers through siphoned AllSpark energy and RNA/DNA grafting.
However, not all Nu-Maximals are clones. Some were volunteers, Decepticon test subjects, or Stockade prisoners like Rattletrap.
A little no one from the dirty backstreets of Iacon, Rattletrap had to ensure his own survival by caring for nobody but himself. It worked enough that he made a lucrative career out of conning, grifting, and scalping whatever the higher class Autobots were willing to pay for. He was the bot to go to if you needed anything you couldn't find in the legitimate channels, but he was also a bot with a lot of enemies, and that eventually landed him in the Stockades.
Whilst imprisoned, Rattletrap heard of an offer being made to the inmates by the new Elite Guard bigshot, # take part in the Maximal trials and shorten your sentence. Knowing this was his only shot at freedom, Rattletrap signed right on up, only to discover he was to be converted into a techno-organic and join Autobot Command's newest task force - his biggest nightmare! Rattletrap, disgusted by his new body, tried to blow the whistle on the Maximal trials, but was brutally silenced by Longarm2.0. He watched in horror as other bots volunteered for the trials, or were forced into it as he was.
Despite everything though, Rattletrap couldn't bring himself to hate his beast teammates. He's not totally sparkless! The Primal kid, he had no idea what was really going on like Rattletrap did, and he was doing his best to keep things running smoothly. Tigatron and Airazor were just hippy airheads who didn't realise the horrors. Silverbolt is an idiot, Cheetor is practically a bitlet dressed up for war games, and Depth Charge... Well, he knows enough. Rhinox is a good guy, too patient for all the scrap that Rattletrap's thrown at him since joining the team; he gets it. Dinobot is an aft, that is all.
He'll find a way to expose Longarm2.0 for the fraghead he is, and find a way to get his old body back while he's at it. Maybe there's some truth to those rumours about Maximals being on that organic Earth planet.
