I think it's a fun little piece! It reminds me a bit of The Iron Giant, a movie whose story I loved! Personally I believe that a not too serious would work best since the premise does require a bit of disbelief and her "bubblier" personality would find a bit more room to express itself in such a story!

I like the idea of a screen-face as it has more "realistic" ways to be expressive than a mechanical one since it can show literally anything!

If there's anything I'm already curious about is that if her species was mechanical in some way or if she's still a biological being incased in the mecha...Guess I'll have to see when you start releasing these!

ah, how could i have forgotten about The Iron Giant?! XD yes, that was a fantastic movie. that didn't have very much bearing on Arehka's concept, but now that you mention it i can see why it would be. gonna need to go back to watching that to refresh my memory.

the expressions were a big reason behind the screen face, but that's also because i wanted a little more freedom in how i would eventually come to draw her.

and that is for people to find out ;)
