Sketch of my little darling Helen trying to warm her hands up
I had an absolute blast working on this image and I hope to be doing so many more of these again in the future. I'm still playing around with getting better at making some changes to my facial style in terms of how the muzzle is constructed (and maybe playing with eye style) so this was another fun test which I was happy with of drawing one of the twins in a 3/4ths style shot. On top of that, I discovered that one of the fan made resource sites for World of Tanks (Tanks.gg) actually has a really useful tool where you can see the tank's visual exterior as it appears in game, but rotate it to any desired angle. While I may not have been using the feature to turn the gun and turret to any funny angles, I did get a nice side angle shot to pose my lil darling on.
Helen is leaning against the outside of the new Italian training tank, the Bisonte C45. One of my new favorite vehicles in World of Tanks because it's a tank that actually has a high skill ceiling and isn't simply a wildly overpowered tank that has no flaws. The sides are very weak, as is the hull, and its not completely impervious to higher tier tanks or special ammunition, but the turret is very strong if you can angle the armor using small hills or dips in the terrain. The gun is fairly hard to work with unless you mount substantial stabilizing equipment, which little Helen is very much grateful for when she has to try and keep this Bison on target. Unfortunately for little Helen, the combat suits aren't super well insulated, so she's trying to keep her paws warm by blowing on them. Maybe she should go sit near the engine, I'm sure its probably fairly warm.
I absolutely love how the Bisonte turned out as well, the thicker line art actually really helped to give it a different weight to Helen, but still made it good and detailed vs the background.
So enjoy a cute vixen and a tank!
