Not all scars blend into flesh.

I see the scar on the land
All the bodies en masse
Because of the fickle hand
That would pen-stroke and clash
With all those who would dare
To not tongue-clean their boots
They laid their plans plainly bare
To divide, steal, and shoot
I see the scar on the world
One that was proclaimed fake
They forced on us their words
‘Til there was little left to take
It came to our fair nation
Waving the Bible and flag
The orange aberration
That they denied was deranged
I see the scar that remains
From that xenophobic creep
The lives lost, ruined, and maimed
All the nights without sleep
Out of fear of the end
That we thought they would bring
But we, the people stayed determined
And once more, freedom can ring
