According to legends never told, when the final battle between good and evil is about to finally begin, Rapturemon will descend from the Heavens to help all the Digimon escape into a safe area, away from the approaching danger.
It will go absolutely out of its way to save all life it can, leaving no one behind. The Digital World will most likely become a wasteland like it was in the very begining, so after the war is finished and good wins the day, that will be Yggdrasil's cue to reset the Digital World back to the way it was. After that, it will be Rapturemon's job to help repair society and bring forth a new generation.
Its strength equals that of Cherubimon and is one of God's most loyal angels, getting along well with all holy Digimon, most especially its dearly beloved Kibegaimon. It's love for Kibegaimon may stem from the two sharing Calumon's data.

Its Special Attacks include firing a huge blast of light from its crucifix shaped staff, "Jerémé", to eradicate the legions of the Dark Area (Final Light) bashing the foe in the head with it (Repent Strike), and howling upwards to summon allies from the world above (Seven Horns). It also uses it to lead is allies to a safe haven (Blessing of Eden).
