skekEg the Warlock and urAm the Shaman were the two halves of the urSkek Archmage EgAm, who split to follow two opposite path in Sorcery and Magic - The Warlock hunger nothing but Ultimate Power while the Shaman chose the path of Spiritual Balance. Their quest for their forms of enlightenment led them to isolation from their kinds, skekEg via exile (skekSo realizing how dangerous he was) and urAm became a traveling nomad, learning what Thra and the various alchemist. shaman and mages that inhabited it would teach him.
Little is known about their fates, but the last contact with the Shaman has him saying his path led him to the Crystal Desert to confront his Dark Half.

yeah, i mean i love their look and concept; to me its more their deeds and what they represent that can be unsettling. i mean the scene from AOR with mira's essence is pretty disturbing when you really think about it. plus i mean as a kid some things can be interpreted certain ways; like when i'd watch it when i was little, i actually thought they were tearing chamberlain apart the way he screamed when he was being disrobed. Or with how messed up the scientist already looked, i actually thought his cowl/back dressing was his actual spine sticking out.
