Hovard Undem serving as a Sargent/Healer in Baron Seigfried's Mercenary Company. Hovard was a young gelded runway slave found and taken in Roy Seigfried - both were in their early teens. Roy insisted Hovard attend classes with the Estate Tutor and receive the same military training. Baron Karl Seigfried agreed upon observing Roy's grades and skills improved when competing against a companion of the same age.
