So this is a first for me. In my time of absence, I decided to write out some lore regarding where my OCs live in and it feels like a breath of fresh air. I'm hoping you all give this a read as I put some thought behind this. Also, for those that don't want to download the PDF file, I'll have the story down below to read.

Just what is this sort of land where Soul and others live on? Is it just another forest with little to see? Well, people may neglect the possibilities this land has to offer if they never got a closer look at it all. This forest is host to a large lake with smaller ponds scattered about, a city that people can travel to if they stick to the one and only path, and an enormous mountain where few have been able to travel to. That last part is due in part by Soul’s family that live in a cave at the very bottom of this mountain, but there has been nothing said if any members of this fox Pokemon family go above and beyond their home. All that can be said is that the father, Wiles, makes sure no one crosses his family or home without his permission, which can be rare to those he is unfamiliar with. However, more can be said about the other two parts of this land: The lake and the city beyond the forest.
The lake that is about 10 miles away from the Fuxion residence, but connected to the mountain itself via a waterfall, is home to various Water types. Even a few Ice or Fire types come around here to either catch prey from the waters or relax in a remote part of the lake where few Pokemon go towards. It is often treated as a small playground for younger Pokemon to go have fun in if an Ice type gets creative or be a personal hot spring should a Fire type risk settling into the water for a while. It seems like a peaceful spot, but this location has been reported a few times in the past for certain criminal activities that the city is more aware of than those living in the forest. However, it is said a Pokemon watches over this lake and guards it with their life, but is unknown if this Pokemon is a Legendary, Mythical, or even just a regular Pokemon. No one has gotten a good look at them for their figure is always obscured either by clothing or fog they create when on the scene. For the good of this area, it helps to have any guardian at all or else this lake wouldn’t be where it is today.
Roughly 15 miles from the lake, there is the city itself where Pokemon raised in civilization live in. While this city isn’t as huge as others tend to be, Nasurah City is where Pokemon form their own communities and help this city thrive in their own way. This includes the negative and positive ways such as having a shelter for homeless Pokemon to live in or gangs of Pokemon terrorising neighborhoods. Even some Pokemon own their own land and either are kind to share or beat them out of their property. This city was made to where Pokemon could live like humans, but without them in their lives. Of course, this city is home to other creatures that may not be known to many or to no one at all, but they attempt to get along with them regardless. Many know their own world is a strange one given their long history with humans, but they’re moving on from them to have their own society. While Pokemon of all shapes and sizes live here, there have been rumors of some strange portal popping up in random parts of the city, but they only happen every once in a while. Reports say some rotund individual lures unsuspecting citizens into this portal to a land that is meant to, and they quote, “Please inner desires of comfiness, relaxation, and most of all, safety from reality”. No one has been able to catch whoever is doing this, but rumor has it that it is a town where people don’t need to worry about the structure of everyday life and can be aloof however they wish, without the use of money or favors. Just smiles all around, which is what a hefty Lucario said after somehow coming back from such a land despite them claiming how good it was to be there. Whether or not this Pokemon spoke true, it has been noted around the city for individuals to be careful going there should that mysterious Pokemon and their portal pop up somewhere. Safe or not, some people may give into temptation and seek an easier life for reality can be soul crushing whenever it wants to be. However, the forest is a different place for someone civil to be free of their city lives as a whole.
Nasurah Forest is enormous and is easy to get lost in if someone doesn’t have a good sense of direction thanks to the trees and fauna that blanket this land. This is where most of the Pokemon live and are free, but of course, even they have their own community to have a level of structure, albeit a small one. Predators and prey exist to keep a balance and they attempt to make sure one or the other don’t suffer in the long run. It is strange to see predators and prey coexist like this where they support one another, but they count on a special being that lives around the mountains. Believe it or not, Wiles, the father of the Fuxion family, is the predator that gave this community of wild Pokemon the idea to coexist and has a method to where the predators don’t starve from meat. Despite being a demon, Wiles shows a level of heart and care to make sure his family don’t end up in danger somehow. This was many years ago that he started this and the residents of this forest began seeing Pokemon similar to Wiles appear with time. Similar to his powers and abilities, but whether they were friend or foe is a gamble of the dice given how the world often views demons. Regardless, some of these demons have helped predators and prey in ways that allow them to stay well fed and survive. The method at which this is done is reformation, but a special way that demons like Wiles can use. Through the orb of a soul, which people referred to these orbs as “Anima”, is how someone like Wiles can revive someone just as they were before. This allows for prey to stay alive while predators are satisfied with a meal to have. While most don’t settle well with this idea and that it defeats the purpose of hunting as a whole, many others think this is better for them and to actually get to know one another without the worry of being eaten or eating the other. To add on, fights may break out every now and again due to the way life here is viewed, but many act no better than civilized Pokemon for they fight too over differing points of view.

Every now and again, a human may sneak onto their turf and it may not end well for them should they choose to journey too far. A border does exist so that Pokemon and other creatures can live in this secluded land. How long can it survive, though, with different societies existing near them? That is a tricky question that may not bear any answer. This land is a home that is here to stay and a certain Mew couldn’t agree more after seeing what it has to offer.
