I generally don't like to post snapshots, but this one imo looked like a good photo in addition to being heart meltingly cute.
And since I know someone's gonna ask, the red stuff around the bottom rat's eye is this red gunk they get for no apparent reason naturally, and he wouldn't have let me wipe it off before the photo had I tried.

I'd look into getting your rat checked up soon, the stuff around their eyes is called porphyrin, and from what I can see either your rat is really stressed or ill.

Thanks for the heads up and the note. The one with the porphyrin actually had a really large lump on his chin at the time.. which just tonight fell off. We want to get him to the vet, but don't have the money to at the moment, so we're handling it as best we can.
