I only believed in Santa as a kid as far as going through the motions was concerned. Long story short, I was much more... observant as a young child than other three-year-olds were. That led to some nightmares, insomnia (that lingers to this day), and admittedly a crazy-ass ride that probably has about fifty-or-so years left.

Yeah, if memory serves, mistletoe berries are whitish. But they’re so unassuming next to holly berries, so I suppose that’s where the confusion comes in.
