And the reason why the internet was fixed with a rubber band was because the plug type would get knocked out of the socket on the UPS a little to easily, so I used a rubber band to hold it in place. The old one got old and broke.

Yup. I did a bunch of research on digital UHF antennas a while back, invented and constructed a scientifically sound compact design... My wife randomly strapped a bunch of coat hangers and wire racks to it with rubber bands. Guess which one worked better. I swear it's something in the latex.
