No one could ask for a better friend than one who's always down for something from the mundane to downright insane. But there are such people, though not like how you'd imagine. Mike is Achilles' best friend, a good fella, and a bit of a goof, but one with a heart of gold. They first met in a lunch line as teens, striking up a strong and lasting friendship, becoming thick as thieves, close as brothers. Though sometimes getting into trouble and/or roping Achilles into trouble his charm usually smooths things over, or on occasion makes them worse.

(Mike is the alternate of Delta, though from wolf to goldie is a bit of a jump. Try not to think too hard about it, I certainly didn't.)
