This is a slightly edited version from the original of this page as I realized (thanks to some helpful feedback from a few readers) that I was going at the exposition way too bluntly. Gonna pace it out a lot better this time.

Something I’ve been wondering, re: the last panel. Claudius’s line about putting a blade through his son, is that a ‘no children allowed for Templars’ thing or a ‘tainted by demons’ thing? I mean, I know the theocracy’s not big on spirits, I just wanna be sure I’m not misinterpreting anything.
