There is much to love about the holidays, the festive treats and drinks, the decorations and beautiful lights, snow, Bing Crosby. But what makes all of those things more enjoyable is having good company to spend those moments with. Going for a nice walk on a chilly night, admiring all the lights and color with a couple of the guys. Just taking it all in and appreciating how pretty this time of year can be. No where many of us would rather be than with those we love and cherish <3

I have been perhaps a little more ambitious than I am capable of actually outputting, having started this picture early November and very slowly chipping away at it. But for this time of year I always feel like its worth it in the end, especially given the times we live in. Call it overly sentimental, corny or what ever, but I really wanted to draw something this year that focused more on the friendship side of the holidays, those close to us even if they may live far away. I have a love for the Christmas season, that has been obvious for a long time, but its also something I love to enjoy with good company, so while it may be hard to see those we love, why not draw it ^.=.^
