During the time that Keda has spent being Oazan's pet, he has mentioned and explained a few different traditions he had grown up with, Christmas being one of them. On the morning of what would have been Christmas on earth, Keda woke up to find himself in a box, tumbling forward from disorientation just to find he had been in a gift box. The sight that greeted him was Oazan grinning down at his little "present," the end of his tail holding some mistletoe as per one of the traditions Keda had explained before.
