Nanachi is seen here sewing what would be the last toy she would make for Mitty. The toy is the one in the shape of a big-eyed green bird creature that inhabits the fourth layer. As she makes it here she knows nothing of the adventure that is to come, one that will have her freeing Mitty and leaving her hideout to help new friends.

2020 was far from great but in lockdown and later working from home I binged anime series from a must-see list made for me by  F-yoshi.

I saw many, among them Beastars, Death Note, Madoka, The Forgotten Neverland, Attack on Titan and Hunter X Hunter. But one stood out among the rest and that was Made In Abyss; an amazing story with relatable characters, it is raw, it is tender and everything in between, it was a ride I shall never forget. And 2020 even saw a Made In Abyss movie release, kept from US theaters by COVID but later premiered online and I saw it. Twice!
