River is the younger of the sisters.
shes generally a LOT more personable than Avery (which doesnt take much). she has 2 close friends and has an incredibly strong bond with her family.
River LOVES getting to know people but always struggles to legitimately connect with them. she has a closer relationship to dogs and they seem to naturally flock to her. its odd, she thinks.
River tries to stay optimistic but things feel like theyre going to boil over at any moment and fears she wont be prepared.
and...unfortunately...she isnt.
While in the shopping district, she runs into a girl, Freya, whom she has a few classes with at university. she helps the girl buy stuff for her awkward dog named Weird Noodle. The conversation is incredibly uncomfortable as River's people skills leave much to be desired and Freya has a short fuse for awkward situations.
After Freya leaves, River sighs and continues on until she bumps into an Anti Lycan Gang member. Literally. the dude goes ballistic and sock's River in the face. His barbed Bracers absolutely shredding her eye. River damn near collapses in pain until shes caught by a woman. Another woman comes out of seemingly nowhere and decks the gang member. The two women take off with River and take her to their RV, where they patch her up and, essentially remove her eye.
River comes to and then bolts. The altercation with the ALG member is the catalyst for River's life spiraling out of control.
Werewolf traits start appearing as her Blockers get weaker and weaker, she notices the strange women more and more after the ALG attack, her parents start acting weirder and weirder- the list goes ON AND ON.
