I wanted to give pixel art a try, and thought I'd start by making a little icon for Azole.

I've found a scaler website that makes things a lot bigger https://lospec.com/pixel-art-scaler/
and it can display gifs when I view the file, but when I upload them they don't play.

I used this one: https://gifmaker.me/resizer/
It uses nearest neighbor algorithm (which is best for resizing pixel art), but it requires Flash. It can also be done in Photoshop. And you'll get the best results if you make your target resolution a multiple of your current one, i.e. 32x32 * n = 64x64, 256x256, etc.
