Terrie and my kids. About this time, I started working on a HAVOC, INC. novel. 9 chapters and about 230 pages later, I lost everything on that hard drive in the Big Crash.
Essentially, Chester gulls Deck into helping him "liberate" (on the just thought-up grounds that it's a sacred ringtail item) a solid gold ringtail angel statue from a heavily (if strangely) guarded museum-fortress.

It was...interesting. The museum was guarded by warrior monks, so naturally Chester dressed in kind to infiltrate. Opening the care containing the statue floods the corridors with 2" of acid, The only way out is through a window 400' up over a charm, with only a narrow landing spot below, and Chester's pop-out glider pack fails as he takes the leap. Then there was the tank corps protecting the site.
