I confess I knew nothing about him until Pan's Labyrinth </shame>
But I do see what you mean, prime example, the monster with the eyes on his hands in said movie. <3

oh, he's done a few more also, he did the Hellboy movies, though it really shows in Hellboy II, but he's kind of like Tim Burton, you absolutely cannot mistake his style :D
