Sorry for the lack of deer this year, but I could not leave you all without a Christmas present. For those that know me well, Tabletop gaming has been a passion of mine since 1976. One of my earliest was GDW's Traveller. Recently I got into a game of Traveller using the Mongoose 2nd Edition rules set, and have been having a ball. In that game, the GM insisted on people picking Photos for use as Character portraits. Some time later, a new player joined that wanted to play a Vargr. (for the uninitiated Vargr are wolf people, that aren't very close to human, but close enough to be able to use Human tools and equipment. They are digitigrade, and a bit stoop shouldered.) Being a very long lived RPG, it was surprising that the Vargr art was so bad. Talking with the new player, i volunteered to work something up for her, based on her late, beloved dog. so I did a portrait, a flat map token and as a bonus, worked up a Mini on Hero Forge. This is the Hero Forge mini. if I do commissions in the future I may offer these as packets for tabletop characters. painted in Photoshop. R U G G E L S / 2 0 2 0

"Oh, you want a bullet to your head? Just stand still, I'll be right with you!"
interesting expression. :) also, nice of you to help your player out... ^^
the art of Vargr are especially bad since they are described as having wolf faces with shortish muzzles, yet everyone gives them fox faces... I tried it once, and the next artist apparently didn't read my added description. XD
anyway, played it myself briefly, and we used the Midgard rules set someone had translated a while before.
