Unfortunately I couldn't quite get the idea I had across, which is that they can create spectral duplicate versions of themself that aid in their hypnotic powers. It's a very trippy experience to be on the recieving end of.

Uuh, very lovely.
You really put that idea to great use.
I just imagine a situation where one is sitting in a chair, trying to resist them, managing juuuust barely to wrench ones own head around and away to look over one's own shoulder, but they are there, too, placing their hands on one's shoulders, staring deep into one's eyes and guiding one's face back forward with ease.
Also sheep are the best to (after trance) cuddle.
