Hopefully triggers arachnophobia a... bit less TuT

While Kreo has had his fair share of run- ins, experiences and misfortunes, little have truly shaken him more than this one instance.
During Kreo's attempted escape to Earth after having been stranded on Saiyr-4 (however it was rather difficult to assess if that was a bad thing), he managed to successfully rebuild his spacecraft and launch back off, finally managing to escape the solar system, Zealous-3 dying bit by bit in a slow implosion behind him, with the two distant moons being caught in the gravity. He had no choice but to set his sights forward. At the very least he was alive, and with Staxus's core held close, still emanating a reassuring warmth, as if signaling him to just push onwards. He felt a little bad getting so caught up on Saiyr, but the past was behind them.
With food and water reserves to last him several months and Staxus's warmth keeping Kreo pretty much alive and sane, the ship continued to drift through the vast emptiness of the cold spatial void, nothing ever happening outside the ship for days, Kreo's patience began to dwindle, slowly yet steadily. His ship was marked for Earth, but didn't account for any space junk or stray asteroids, or whatever else out there wanted him dead. Soon enough, though, the stars outside of the void slowly came into view, Kreo's excitement increasing as Zealous's demise was merely a faint memory by now. However, among the incoming stars and solar systems, an asteroid field also came into view, directly ahead of the ship. Kreo took the wheel setting Staxtus's inert core in the seat beside him, forced the ship out of its cheap autopilot, and began to manually maneuver around the asteroids, slowly and steadily. It was surprisingly difficult for him, because he had no idea what anything outside of the void was like. So many, many stars and clouds of interstellar gasses, it was beautiful... breathtaking for him, in fact. Things like this have only been described in legend or fabricated into concepts beneath his homeworld's forcefield during the night. Lo and behold, Kreo's curious nature would only lead to disastrous consequences, as he didn't notice the large chunk of space rock hurtling towards his craft, just barely outside of his point of view, and striking from the side... hard. The airlocks sealed as a gigantic hole was smashed open in the cabin dorm, his remaining supplies being jettisoned, and his ship once again tumbling downwards out of control, Staxus's core repeatedly hitting Kreo heavily as it tumbled violently around in the cockpit, in anger for his carelessness or by accident, Kreo didn't quite know as he suddenly blacked out altogether as a result from the repeated pummeling.
When Kreo awoke with a seriously bruised head, he found himself in a dark cave, with unusually dusk- orange light shining down on him through a hole in the ceiling. Reddish foliage lined the outskirts of the cave, barely moving at all. His vision and hearing was quite botched, but he could barely notice several dark, unrecognizable figures looming over him, seemingly conversing with one- another. He couldn't hold himself awake much longer, and shortly passed out once again, the word "EMANCIPATE" flashing in his head, letter by letter, rapidly.
Kreo later awoke after an undeterminable amount of time, now in a different position altogether. His vision and hearing slowly cleared up, and soon he found he was strung up in a very large, silky web, a white, sticky stringy formation of some sort cocooning his body up to his neck, preventing him from moving almost entirely. Those same figures he'd seen before now fully identifiable, giant black, brown, and dark reddish creatures with eight legs and eight eyes- though some had their eyes obscured behind thick fluff, and they were all seemingly conversing with one- another, loud chittering filling the cavern... spiders. Kreo struggled a bit and tried to free himself, to no avail. He attempted to change form, but surprisingly- nothing happens. He even felt a stinging sensation when he attempted to do so, yelping out in surprised pain. His movements and exclaiming seem to gather attention, the chitter- chatter quickly dying as all the arachnids swiftly turned to face him, silence now piercing his ears, Kreo's eyes darting rapidly around the room in panic, waiting very hesitantly for something to happen. One of the spiders approaches Kreo, emitting a variety of indecipherable chitters. "W-Wh-what? What... do you want from me? Why am I here?" Kreo protests, both confused and terrified. The spider continued chittering, seemingly understanding him but not the other way around, eventually the chittering becoming louder and louder before the other spiders join in, seemingly angry. Amidst Kreo's confusion, the nearest spider jumps up beside the web and tries to bite at Kreo in the ear, Kreo reacting swiftly- or, as swiftly as he can- quickly tilting his head to the side, yelping and struggling more, the spiders seeming to be on board with his attacker's idea. "No! Stop, please!" Kreo protests, amidst several more attempted bites. It's almost like the spider above him was teasing him, intentionally missing. It wouldn't be long before it decided to end this little charade.
"NO, SERIOUSLY, STOP! PLEASE, HEAR ME OUT!" Kreo squeals out, the spider above him finally stopping for a second, the crowd hushing altogether, supposedly willing to hear out what this little whelp of prey had to say, compared to them. "Seriously! I don't want to die! I know you've p-probably heard this plenty of times before, but really... I'll do ANYTHING to not be killed, I mean it!" The spiders turned to one- another, chittering some more, before turning back to Kreo... and nodding. The spider above him cleanly sliced the cocoon in half with one of its legs, dropping Kreo onto the cold, hard ground of the cave. His entire body stung, the cocoon seemingly numbing his pain, as well as his nerves. Gashes and bruises covered most of his midsection, burn wounds and ash coating him. He felt around himself, until he realized there was a small bundle of that same sticky substance woven around where his left ear is. Kreo assumed he shouldn't remove the bundle... quite yet. He slowly stood up, shivering a little, hundreds of eyes locked on him. He was probably a mere morsel compared to what these arachnids usually ate. Nonetheless, he was forcibly ushered out of the cavern, through the domain of his new wardens.
From then on, Kreo served his purpose amongst the spiders. Once again, he was stranded on another alien world, but this time it was anything but pleasant. The spiders ordered him to accomplish tasks they could not with their appearances and bodies, and whenever Kreo didn't get the hints, he was severely punished for it. Eventually, Kreo learned why the spiders were so infuriated with him upon his arrival- his ship had cascaded right through their caverns, incinerating half of their acquired food and water, as well as causing massive damage to the surrounding environment. The members of the colony seemed to have demolished the rest of the ship, possibly looking for any other survivors. It wouldn't do much, since it was far beyond any sort of repair upon arrival, but thankfully, Staxus was left intact, whether Kreo was bludgeoned intentionally or not. Nevertheless, Kreo unfortunately understood why they were so enraged, and decided to pay his debt back, no matter the costs. With each passing day, Kreo learned the cavern's routes, and he slowly began to understand his new brothers and sisters, seeing between the chittering, and sometimes successfully responding back... while being careful not to accidentally insult any mothers indirectly in this new language of sorts. The spiders eventually let Kreo converse with their queen, who thanked him for his mostly selfless service. Very slowly, he went from being treated as a disposable whelp of a slave to a respected member of their society, and after a while, his body began to show that, too.
With enough exposure to this new way of life, Kreo's body slowly transformed to adapt to it, his lower- body elongating, his tail merging with his once- legs to form one large, bulbous abdomen, and his legs now splitting into eight respectively. By now, Kreo was among the spiders, surprisingly comfortable with this turn of events. After this drastic change had completed, he decided to get further invested with this planet- as he had no real way off of it, and also because he was rather intrigued. Chitter- chats with the local arachnids revealed that this was actually one of many tribes and colonies, warring with each other for land, where their species reigned dominant over roughly sixty percent of the world, their tribe barely making a mark. Soon enough, he learned of this planet's "breeding season," mostly suddenly, and he was one of the colony members to take part within it. Despite the tribe he was in barely making a mark, Kreo was quite complacent and happy to leave his own mark on this world... and also to give this new body of his a test drive.
By now, Kreo had lost all collective track of time, once again carried away by yet another planet's unexpected invitations to stay. He doesn't quite know how long it's been since he crashed here, but seeing as he's celebrated among his tribe's rather unique holidays more than once, he could safely assume it's been at least a year. He'd been fully accepted into a member of the colony, revered for his differences and skills... but unfortunately, Kreo's unfortunate luck had followed him, even here. As while he was sleeping within his designated dorm, he heard a piercing chitter echo throughout the chambers, one he distinctly found was meant to represent danger and panic. He leapt up and swiftly left his dorm, only to find that the tribe was being raided by an opposing force. Kreo recollected himself amongst the sudden attack, proceeding to fight among his tribe, creatures who once wanted him dead and disposed of, now as one of them. Try as he might, this enemy tribe was far too powerful and much too plentiful, driving him and his colony back or diminishing their numbers gradually. Kreo knew he had no choice but to flee, returning to the storage and frantically scavenging until he finally found Staxus's core, booking it out of the caverns he'd grown to know and appreciate somewhat fondly, receiving a few blows to himself as he made his harrowing escape, left alone amongst his once- thriving relatives.
Kreo skittered away for miles, holding Staxus's core tight as he pushed through countless trees and bushes, terrified and relieved; both of the situation, and of managing to escape alive, if not in one piece. He eventually decided he was safe, sighing and panting profusely, trying to recover himself after that frantic escape. He set up camp in the trees, spinning a web horizontally far above the forest floor. He'd used what he'd learned from his time at the colony to survive. Finding food, be it vegetal or meat, making and tending to his web, and how to navigate using the stars. This information would be otherwise basic, but to Kreo, it was like re-learning the alphabet when it came to an entire new planet. Otherwise, Kreo was a sitting duck. Sure he was a spider among spiders, but had no way to get off this world otherwise. Was this truly his new life?
Well... it would have been, if he had not taken special notice of a rather strange... and anthropomorphic... cat- looking woman down beneath him, wearing a space suit.
