After 100 years, it was assumed that the Great Dragon had died, leaving their castle open for any king brave enough to do so. But when King Luca tried to take something “worth more than the veins of gold that remain in the mountains”, all that was returned to his kingdom was his corpse, and his daughter, Princess Elena, had to figure out how to keep a furious dragon from ransacking the castle.
What can she trade for the sake of her people, and can she really be happy with any of the options that she has left?

- The J in Jordmark is pronounced like a Y.
- Ysoldt is not the only Old Queen, and Elena will not be the only current Treasured Woman. o:

I’m annoyed that the fonts I used initially didn’t port well to the PDF, but Ormir should be speaking in all caps again, lol.

I feel like I struggle with the right amount of description; so, I’m really glad to hear that it turned out well!
And thank youuuu That’s exactly how I wanted Ormir to come across. I was also trying to balance the fact that they’re soft for the people that they love, but they’re still a dragon with unapologetic dragon traits about them.
Nissa and I talked about a gaggle of people for Ormir to collect, and my goal is to make a few short, complete stories to introduce all of them. Hopefully they’ll all be as enjoyable! Thanks for your feedback!
