Wow, I didn't know Kathy had this side to her. Jinjur really got her just deserts here. Excellent use of mid-action poses, you really show the energy in her blows. I especially like how you've worked so hard on Jinjur's terrified face and Kathy's fierce expression. Nice work on the cuts too. Your use of dialogue is perfect here. Altogether I love how the tables have turned from Jinjur's overconfidence to utter defeat. It goes to show how most bullies will crumble when someone stands up to them. Especially, with that hook. FANTASTIC WORK KD. A nice way for me to close my Christmas evening.😍🎄⭐⭐⭐⭐🙌👍
Thank you so much, I am delighted that everyone has really enjoyed these strips and consider them great Christmas gifts to my readers...as disturbing as that sort of seems. ;) But of course, I timed this to occur on Christmas for precisely that reason. Many of you have been waiting a LO-O-ONG time for this moment!
I think I mentioned that I made up two poses in Hero Forge, and composited them together to use as the drawing model for this sequence. You can't do that in HF, so I had to carefully position the figures separately, take screen caps, then erase the background and paste them together in Photoshop.
I should put them up for comparison. They're not colored of course, because the gray figures show up much better in the lightbox I use.
And I got a nifty gift from my buddy Sleepy John--he had the figure I used for the pose when Kathy knocked Fred through the fourth wall made up into a printed miniature, complete with little apple at her feet!

More that she chose her opponents because she could intimidate them and run them through. Bullies often choose their targets for maximum effect. Kathy caught her by surprise.
Had Jinjur known it would be a fist fight, she would have been ready for that.
