"The quality seemed poor at first glance", I said out loud,
"But on closer inspection, these paws would make a fursuiter proud!"
Unbeknownst to me, my hand continued to shift and contort,
Fur running down my arm, anatomy proceeding to distort.
My lock on my gift slowly began to break at last,
When a strange "CRACK CRACK CRACK" sound from my back began to blast.
"I've never popped my back that well before" I said in confusion,
When I looked to my side, I swear, what I saw was an illusion.
With mouth agape and suspense of belief overtaking my mind,
I took in the sight of a tail, but no animal source could I find.
Reaching at my back with my right hand, slowly becoming a paw well refined,
Confirmed my fantasy to be reality, this tail now part of how I am designed.
