hi, i'm looking for advice or tips at regarding making my first fursuit in the near future when all this corvid outbreak had died down.
i am hoping to make a cosplay fursuit of Vince the fox from the BBC show "mongrels" which aired between 2010-11, as mongrels was the thing that led me to the fandom after seeing pictures of them at a couple of meets a few years back.
i have a fair idea of how to make a suit but just have a few questions about to put it all together
1.is the fur for the head/face glued down or are they made so they can be removed like a cover in case the fur needs washing or repairs?
2. eyes - i have noticed that most of the eyes used are the sunken in "follow me" type eyes, i was wondering if anyone made, or would know where to find bulgy-out cartoon style eyes.
what sorts of materials/parts are used that you can see out of?
3. with the main body suit, what sort of liner is used inside the suit and is it attached to the outer fur in any particular way, or can something like a onesie be worn under the outer fur if it has no lining?
4. is there a certain way of hiding the zipper on a suit as a lot of ones I've seen, the zipper is not visible, and i wouldn't know where to fit one to be discreet or for ease of getting in or out of

I'm not a maker, but I've seen people cut cheap plastic bowls for the whites of toony eyes, and buckram or something similar for the see through part
Matrices has a tutorial here on the basic idea with material suggestions, you could also probably modify it more 'bulgy' if these are too flat
