Clan Volkn is a clan of ferocious mercenaries, selling their services and warriors to the highest bidder, which is usually Clan Skryre. Whether born a clanrat or Stormvermin, the warriors of this clan are branded upon birth and dye their fur a bright red. Skun Chartail is aptly named given his birthing into this clan, and fights with a zeal that is relatively greater than clanrats of other clans, even that of Ferrik or Mors. Though still an 'expendable' rat among the seemingly endless masses of the Skaven race, proper skill gains proper recognition. Always needing more bodyguards for herself, Iza was happy to hire Skun Chartail and have him work alongside Tagren Furslasher as her two bodyguards. Clan Skryre has rather 'friendly' standings with both Ferrik and Volkn, and it is with a sigh of relief that both Skun and Tagren have no ill-will for each other, thus saving Iza money when it comes to hiring a new bodyguard. Similar to Rivaki of Clan Mors, Skun wants nothing more than to be promoted into the ranks of Stormvermin by continuing to prove himself in battle against the dwarves, lizardmen, elves, and even against his own kind. The only difference between him and Rivaki however is that Skun is far more competent at proving himself, putting the Mors rat to shame.

I've always been fascinated with Clan Volkn and I've always wanted to make a character or two from that fiery clan. So! As an official Christmas day celebration, here is my first Clan Volkn member! Red is a color of Christmas after all. Leave a fav and a watch if you liked! More in the future!
