Without darkness there is no light, without the day there would be no night.
With no peace there is no fear, without loneliness you would not be held so dear.
Though unpleasantries are often painful and unavoidable, they are needed for balance.
You would not be able to enjoy the things you enjoy quite as much if you had hem solely in abundance.

Dreams are a wonderful escape from the hardships of reality
But nightmares too remind us that those hardships are often not nearly as bad as they could be.


This year has been awful to so many of us, hasn't it?
Though such things care not for our rulings of time and date, and many of us will be suffering for longer still, remember the dawn will always come, and when it does the light will feel extra sweet when we can finally be reunited again after so long apart. Distance does only make the heart grow fonder, after all.
The roaring 20's were so lively in celebration of survival, perhaps we too will get to enjoy such a rebirth in the near future.
Stay well and stay safe. It will all be okay in the end.
