Developped the Mew Kid into an actual character named Timmi (his parents are from abroad). While the transformation itself was quick, involuntary, and somewhat painless, he's had to go through a lot of slightly escalated hardships as a result. People staring, bullying at school, the usual things for a 9-year old. He starts by concealing his new parts with a hat and belt, and hair-dying his face a brownish blonde so he could pass as a human at a distance, but even that becomes both an uncomfortable hastle and paranoically unpredictable when situations arise.

Fortunately, he still has his loving parents, his supportive friends, and a particularly optimistic gas station clerk who helps him get through his adaptation phase. It's a nice little developing story that I might write in the upcoming future.
