I must say...this is quite the deviation from my normal submission subjects. However, I'd like to think that tiger food is just as welcome as the tigers themselves.
This is a bovid called a "Banteng". Males can reach up to 1000kg and they can be found in groups of up to 30 individuals. They are an important prey species for Indochinese tigers (Panthera tigris corbetti) and restoration of these carnivores hinges on the conservation of such species. As K. Ullas Karenth says, "Love thy ungulate", for without prey, tigers decline and disappear rapidly, leaving empty forests.
This banteng was quite interested in me and I must say, I was quite charmed. They are gorgeous animals.
