Tail was super fun to figure out. It has a wire though everything so it has shape and is bouncy. Floof part was left unstuffed and unwire and has very nice movement to it. Whole underside had to be hand-stiched closed because this tail was too thin to sew inside-out and then turn-out
and be able to get the floof out.
Little more seam picking I wanna do but otherwise, yup, all done. On to boots for them now : )

Holy jumpin' jackalopes, batman! D: Those are -incredible- *BOGGLED* I always take issue with tails that either just kinda lay limp, or only have a wire from the base to the tip, so it wobbles awkwardly. >.>; That tail looks like it'd swish back and forth and up and down rather naturally. :3
Also, the feathering detail around the hooves is exquisite. <3

oh my god i've been wracking my brain with my first foam legs that i had to make a stuffed DTD for, and trying to figure out what to use as a stand, for like 2 months. why i didnt just think to throw a rolled towel onto my dress form stand i will NEVER KNOW. all those years ago seeing these legs inspiring me to start making hoof shoes and "faun" legs... [i just noticed the last comment at the bottom, corvuszero, 5 yrs ago, is actually my old account XD]
idk if you'll read this, but if so, and if you don't mind a question, did you do/use anything special to keep the waist in place? I do alot of non-foam faun legs these days, and i usually make them as assless chaps with a leather belt holding them up, since most ppl intregrate them into other costumes, but recently people have wanted full coverage, which is easy to sew but not so easy figuring out how to integrate the same style of leather belt, and 1" non-roll elastic waistband did not work the weight of the fur still pulled them down... i'd love any advice you've got, and even if you don't have time, i still love your work and want to thank you for inspiring me to create costumes. <3

WANT.
I'm working on a Faun outfit right now, but other than just sewing the fake fur onto a pair of breeches I can't figure out how to make the legs look realistic but be comfortable as well-I already know how I'm going to do to hooves, it's the legs themselves I can't figure out. Any suggestions? I'd prefer it to be flexible and something that doesn't leave visible lines-I've seen ones made with foam wedges where you can see the corners sticking out and they're very angular, and they just don't look at all convincing.

that is impressive.... i was looking at your prices and didn't see any listing for this sort of piece... just full legs... how much did the commission cost for these pants and the boots to go with them?
