I am really, really happy with this piece. Part of my fleshing out the imaginary world of Ariset in which Relorian lives in.

In this one, Relorian is a priest of Ariset. In ancient times the Priests were the holders of magic and tradition, only that part of society that could channel the power of their Gods. In modern times the priests have transitioned into scientists, where magic is now seen and broken down into a simple matter of manipulation of energy under the right circumstances. Rel is currently tasked with comparing modern research and theories of creating a 'mini sun', like one that sits before him, to methods written down in old scrolls that were kept in the priest's vault from thousands of years ago. Are the methods and results detailed in the old writing, hidden beneath metaphor and scripture, the same used in the modern-day? Or are there some missing variables that have been lost or shifted over the natural progression of time? Such is the Job of his station to find these answers and always strive forward in the search for knowledge and understanding, for better or worse.

Again I am just in love with his piece, I even have it as my wallpaper at the moment on my desktop! Hah, yes I know it is not the 'normal stuff' you expect from me, but I like to strike a balance between SFW and NSFW. Both are sides of the same world. Every world has a darker underside to it.
