A cute drunken love confession.. I didn't have a species in mind for the grey/white/teal character, but she ended up looking a lot like a greenish version of my snowserval avatar. That was unintentional, but I think its kinda neat. The other girl is a leopard..

I have no idea where you live, but you may wanna check your definition of rape, last I checked, unless you drugged them and / or they're under age, sleeping with a drunk woman is perfectly fine as long as she doesn't say no; hence the legal age for drinking, it can make you do some stupid things.
It depends on your prosecutor, and whether or not she complains afterwards. They're pushing the whole "drunk women can't consent" idea pretty hard around here, at least (of course, drunk *men* just did something stupid.)

Not only is sex with a willing drunk girl prosecutable as rape, but sex with a sober girl who was willing at the time, but later changed her mind is too. Fortunately, some judges still have some common sense.
Aw, that's really sweet. And while I'm sure it will probably be terribly embarrassing for the poor, lovestruck snowleopard when she sobers up, well, you never know until you try, either.
I absolutely love the expressions they're both wearing, and how well you managed to capture the moment of revelation. It's nice, too, that while the leopard looks shocked, there's no real hint of any further reaction. It kind of lets you imagine that she might do just about anything. It lets you hope, as the snowleopard does, that she might say yes.
I know you have a lot of characters already, but I really hope that we'll get to see these two at least once more. The snowleopard is really gorgeous, and she has a really cute face. And, well, there's just something so very charming about new-found love, too.

Very well-drawn, Kacey. Black glossy hair is quite difficult, as is that black top... textures are subtle but definite. I also admire the sense of dimension you give the teal feline's tail.

Hey I have done that a couple of times in my life... Sad thing is straight girls just don't understand.... But then straight guys don't either when some guy tells them they are cute.... But it's OKAY for them to tell a lesbian they have what she needs....

I always love those little touches you add in like the little heart shaped "drunk bubbles" and one of those even pops.
I've had my own share of drunk embarrassments, you'd think I would have learned my lesson after the first or even second time... These days though I take care not to get that drunk, besides with medication I can't always have alcohol but I still enjoy a good drink now and then like Baileys or Irish coffee.

Ahhh beer you make the most awkward situations occur :p You can’t hide anything while intoxicated unfortunately and sometimes you totally regret the happings on from earlier lol
That being said though I think this is absolutely fantastic. Every detail from the big and the small in this piece are just superb. The blushing effects, the way the snow leopard’s top is slightly falling off the clothing, the poses, the hair, even the little drunken hiccup bubbles that look like hearts. All of this makes for art that I can’t help but fave :D

That being said though I think this is absolutely fantastic. Every detail from the big and the small in this piece are just superb. Haha thats cool. Maison Ikkoku is one of my favorite anime. Actually when I'd done the sketch and was thinking about the colors, I was reminded of that scene when Akemi gets really drunk and kisses Kyoko.. and I was tempted for a moment to give each of them their respective hair colors, but then I changed my mind.
A beautiful scene. Sadly, too many must wait until they are intoxicated or dying before they are able to express the feelings. Such powerful feelings that they bind within their hearts. Too afraid of rejection, hate, loss... So many priceless souls never find love because of this. Looking carefully at the leopard's face, it appears that she hasn't any idea how to respond. Certainly this is a very close friend, but has her own heart blossomed as well? Has she ever even suspected such feelings from her? Or is this something she finds undesirable. As much as I would hope that these two become a couple, there is still so many possibilities that the artist has left open.

Thank you for your in depth thoughts about the illustration. I was indeed thinking of 2 friends, one or both of whom have harbored secret feelings for the other.. I wish I had the time to write stories, because I have some nice ones in my head that I use to generate character art.
I was thinking, with this one, that the leopard girl had feelings for the snowleopard but was afraid of sharing for fear of losing her best friend - only to be surprised by her friend revealing those same feelings for her - so her look is more of shock and surprise than uncertainty... but the image could be interpreted so many different ways, and I think the lack of knowing what comes next is something that makes it interesting, or at least it did to me, creating it.

Where-as I have no talent with art, and wish that I had. My limited talent is with words, and I fear that I am not too well versed in their usage. I never finished High School, I have a GED. A few years of literature studies would have been useful. Ah well, all under the bridge. Coming up on fifty-nine, I am not going to be improving anymore.
