I have 3 copies of this Original soundtrack.I had to get it because the songs were cute. A tape version and 2 CDs. The entire heaven scene is on the sound track including the deleted word. If you watch the video closely when charlie is floating upwards after he realizes hes dead... in the edited version he say,

"...that Carface, I'll kill him"

Charlie actually says...

"Damn that Carface, I'll kill him"

Watch the lips move in the movie and you'll see him mouths the word Damn. If you have the original movie soundtrack it's on there lol.


Also, on a sadder note.. In the original sound track, a lot of people don't know that the end credit song "Love Survives" was actually written as a memorial tribute to the actress Judith Barsi (who voiced Anne Marie) she and her mother were both murdered by her father shortly before the film was released.

What i really love about this movie is that Charlie has all the worst possible characteristics for a protagonist. He was a Lying, Stealing, Drinking, Smoking, Gambling, Ex-con. They do NOT make em like that anymore, heck in kids movies or otherwise.

I think it is safe to say Charlie was one of the first and probably the last "antihero" to be the protagonist for an animated movie (especially considering how badly the movie was panned for those and related reasons.)

Which is why I adore him.

For not seeing the movie in forever, these are great. If anything I miss most the Whippet Angel's loooong neck, if only because it freaks FrostDemn out. 8)

I think I see some semblence what they look like but, this movie has been lost in the archives of my memory for a long time....all I relly remember are that cats go to hell.

hehee I love this song from All Dogs Go to Heaven. I use to have a teacher that had helped with the animation for that and quite a few other Don Bluth films. I had to get the movie and I watched it a lot. Makes me feel like going and watching it again. :)

....yeah I've watched this movie one too many times lol..I actually have an original movie acript from this fim that I got from a friend of mine who used to be Don Bluth's publicist and shes good friends with John Pomoroy the co producer. She's also where I got a ton of original All Dogs go to Heaven animation cells. The heaven scene is my Favorite.
